We keep cookies minimal and don't use them for ads or third-party tracking. Here's what's actually set in your browser when you use Vindy Post.

What we use

Authentication cookies (essential).Set by Supabase Auth so you stay signed in. Without these, you'd have to log in on every page. Expire when your session ends or when you sign out.

Preference storage.Small pieces of data in your browser's localStorage to remember things like which timezone you posted last in, draft auto-saves, or whether you dismissed a one-time tip. Stays on your device only.

What we don't use

• No third-party ad cookies.
• No cross-site trackers or pixels.
• No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar marketing tags on the dashboard.
• No fingerprinting.

Embedded content

Some pages may show previews from connected platforms (e.g. an Instagram post thumbnail). Loading those previews may cause your browser to make a request to that platform, which can set its own cookies under that platform's own policy.

Managing cookies

You can clear cookies and localStorage anytime from your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out of Vindy Post. Sign in again to continue. If you're stuck on a blank dashboard, our /sign-out page clears the auth cookies cleanly.
